'Men inferior’

their superiority long ago and “have the good sense to be quiet about it.” Mr Montagu said women were superior on several different levels. He said they were more intellectual because of their everyday experiences, which differed from those of most men. “Men use their intelligence to get Ph.Ds and to win the Nobel Prize, but you can get those awards and still be as dumb as an ox.” Mr Montagu said. He also said women were constitutionally superior to men. because they bore and nurtured children, and were biologically superior because they had two “X” chromosomes.
