Touring N.Z. athletes dominate Canberra

(N.Z. Press Assn —Copyright) CANBERRA. The touring New Zealand under 23 athletes dominated their match against Canberra at Woden ’Park Field yesterday, winning ail but six of the 29 events contested. Barbara Beadle set an Australian Capital Territory open shot put record of 14.24 metres, and Clare Kavermann broke the open women’s high jump record with 1.71 metres.
