Candidate at Karori

WELLINGTON, April 9. Mr H. C. Templeton was selected tonight as the National Party’s candidate for the Karori seat in the General Election. He was chosen on the first ballot.
Mr Templeton is executive assistant to the Leader of the Opposition (Mr Muldoon). He was recommended by the present member for Karori and former Opposition Leader. Sir John Marshall, who will not seek re-election.
