Kitchen fire
The kitchen of the Coaster Inn. High Street, was damaged by fire early yesterday morning. The smoke was first noticed at 1 a.m., and the brigade quickly had the fire under control. The kitchen was not at the back of the Sedley Wells building as reported "in “The Press” yesterday, but next door to that building.
