A manuscript? of the Gospels, thought y* have been [written in the ninth century; in Metz, France, was sold at! an auction sale in London! yesterday for £BO,OOO. The decorated manuscript, believed to have belonged to; Queen Theutberga, the di-1 vorced wife of King Lothairl II of Lorraine, was bought by; a London dealer. It realised; the top price in a sale of 34 manuscripts. — London.l March 26.
