Change of heart
Eldridge Cleaver, the American black militant fugitive now living in nearpoverty in Paris, says he is less enthusiastic about Communism since visiting Russia and China. He does not like the Arab Governments, and hates Israel less than he did. The one-time Black Panther leader who used to call for assassination of the American police, expressed his views in an interview published in “Newsweek.” — New York, March 11.
