Commission sells house

The Christchurch house of the British High Commission was sold at auction yesterday for $67,000. The 3000 sq. ft fourbedroom residence has a Government valuation <1971) of $30,500. The new owner is Mr P. F. Pyer, of Wairarapa Terrace, who has bought the house for a private residence. The house, at 14C Coldstream Court, Fendalton, on a quarter-acre section fronting the Waimairi Stream, was bui’t four years ago. The auctioneer was Mr C.i M. Robertson. of Sherris and Wilson, Ltd.
