Two sought after fire

WELLINGTON, Feb. 23.
The police are seeking two youths who are believed to have started a gorse fire which threatened 10 houses in Porirua this afternoon.
Descriptions of the youths were given to police by a resident, who noticed the two acting suspiciously. The fire, which raged more than five hours, burnt about 200 acres of gorse. The flames were within 25 yards of houses. At. its peak in the afternoon the fire was burning across a 1000-yard front, and was being fought by firemen from Porirua, Johnsonville, Tawa, and Bay. Six appliances and a bulldozer I were used.
