U.S. aid to Ethiopia
(N.Z. Press Assn—Copyright) ADDIS ABABA. The United States Embassy has announced that America was giving an additional SUS4.I million in famine recovery aid to Ethiopia. The embassy said that the grant brings to SUS2B million drought relief contributions to Ethiopia since late 1973, including SUSI 7 million for emergency food ■ supplies. American officials said the I grant had nothing to do with jthe guerrilla war in Eritrea (province or difficulties in relations between Washington and the five-month-old military Government seeking to modernise Ethiopia along eastern socialist lines.
