The embassy said that the grant brings to SUS2B million drought relief contributions to Ethiopia since late 1973, including SUSI 7 million for emergency food ■ supplies. American officials said the I grant had nothing to do with jthe guerrilla war in Eritrea (province or difficulties in relations between Washington and the five-month-old military Government seeking to modernise Ethiopia along eastern socialist lines.
