Mr Muldoon in Japan

The Leader of the Opposition (Mr Muldoon) is visiting the ancient western Japanese capital of Kyoto, after a busy round of meetings with the Prime Minister (Mr Takeo Miki) and other Japanese Government leaders. Mr Muldoon will return to Tokyo later today. On Friday Mr Muldoon discussed the economic outlook with Japanese bankers and investment specialists.
