Concern over pregnancies

Kenya’s sports authorities are studying ways to cut down the number of pregnancies among women athletes, according to the national athletic coach, Jim Wambua, Agence France 1 Presse reported. Mr Wambua said that,' according to athletics authorities’ records, Kenya had lost 11 leading women athletes in! seven years. Suggestions for curbing the -pregnancy rate range ! from introducing the pill, to ; instruction in self-discipline, ; abstention and sex edu-[ cation . The authorities said that; “many parents are worried! that their daughters who; come into the limelight may; be subjected to the danger’ of becoming pregnant.” I
