Illustrator’s show

Beatrice Foster-Bamham, the Nelson painter of native bush and alpine flowers, will open her first exhibtition in Christchurch next week, in the Capricorn Gallery. Miss Foster-Bamham, who is disabled, has written and illustrated a number of children’s reading books, which are used in infant classrooms. In 1972 she won a merit award in the National Bank water-colour competition. The exhibition will open on February 7, and close on February 21.
