Three titles for Reid
The junior cyclist, Kim Reid, contested three Canterbury grass track championships at Rangier* last night and won them ah. With only eight starters in both senior and junior events, the meeting manager, Mr Bruca Dawe, combined the fields to make the two longer championships open. Reid, who had aarliar won th* junior 800 metre title, had no trouble beating the four seniors for the 1000 and 2000 metre titles as well. Gary Sword, who won the senior 800 metre event, was second to Reid in the 1000 metre race and was third in the 2000 metre race.
