Workshop burgled

An electric motor, a radio and tools to a total value of $4”3 were stolen from an N.A.C. workshop at Christchurch Airport at the weekend.

The workshop was entered through a window. The tools were worth $lOO and the motor $4O. Tee Vee Radio, Ltd, 22 Manchester Street, was also entered at the week-end. Cash amounting to. $2ll and a stereo set and amplifier to a total value of $4OO were stolen.

The premises were broken into through a skylight. The police have still not found the couple who abandoned a newly painted stolen car near Amberley about 4.15 a.m. yesterday. A patrol car followed the car along the Main North Road until it stopped. The paint on the stolen car was still wet.
