U.S.-Indian grain deal
(.V Z. Press Assn— Copyright) WASHINGTON. An American State Department spokesman said that the Secretary of State (Dr Henry Kissinger) and the Indian Ambassador (Mr T. Kaul) had overcome a misunderstanding and reached agreement, in principle, on the terms for sending 300,000 tons of American grain to India under the United States’ Food for Peace programme.
