High flyer

Mr Dennis Kolberg, aged 22, piloted his hang glider, a device strapped to his body, for 35 minutes before reaching the ground in Morgan Hill, California, a community about 70 miles south of San Francisco, having been lifted to 17,000 feet by a balloon piloted by a friend. Mr Kolberg is claiming a hang-glider altitude record, — Morgan Hill, Dec. 26.
