Four hurt on roads
An elderly woman suffered head, leg, and arm injuries when she was struck by a car in Riccarton Road about 11.30 a.m. yesterday. She is Eileen Margaret Collins, of 6A Kauri Street, Riccarton. She was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital resuscitation ward, where her condition last evening was giveni as fairly comfortable. Three other persons injured; in road accidents in Christchurch at the week-end were admitted to Princess Margaret Hospital. Elliott Blackgrove, aged 17,

Dickson Crescent, Hornby, suffered head injuries when his motor-cycle and a car collided in Garvins Road, Sockburn, about 1 p.m. on Saturday. All three persons are reported in a fairly comfortable condition.
