Speculation on Vorster

(N.Z.P.A -Reuter—Copyright) JOHANNESBURG, Dec. 1. Speculation that the South African Prime Minister (Mr John Vorster) might recently have made a secret trip “deep into Black Africa” intensified in Johannesburg when a Johannesburg newspaper said that it was likely the Prime Minister had visited the Ivory Coast. The Johannesburg “Sunday Times” claimed to have discovered that a top-secret 15man South African Government team recently flew to Abidjan, capital of Ivory Coast. The newspaper said that it was likely that Mr Vorster was with the party. The “Sunday Times” article came after reports in two pro-Government newspapers — “Die Burger” and “Beeld” — saying that diplomatic circles were talking about a “rumoured dramatic visit which the Prime Minister made, deep into Black Africa.” ■
