Sir, — Until I read your headline on Page 3 today “Oldest bore capped,” I was of the belief that your reporters were normally up-to-date. As I understand it the oldest bore was capped on The Hill in Wellington on November 8, but regrettably the capping is only temporary. — Yours etc., BORED STIFF, November 14, 1974.
