Four share “Lion” lead After the third day of the club cricket competition, four players share the lead in the Lion “player of the day” award. They are B. G. Hadlee (Old Boys). D. W. Bracewell and J. G. Phillips (Old Collegians), and K. J. Wadsworth (Lancaster Park). Each has four points. The winners of three points on Saturday were Hadlee, who made a spectacular 73 in difficult conditions: P. A. Sharp (Burnside West), who had the day’s best bowling figures, five for 29; Phillips, who top-scored for his side; and P. G. Coman. who batted throughout East-Shirley’s innings for 95 not out. Those with two points were J. Lindsay (BurnsideWest), Wadsworth, D. S. Banks (Old Collegians) and K. D. Prusas (Sydenham). One-point awards went to G. T. Dowling (Burnside-West), A.
