.V Z. Press Association) : HAMILTON, Oct. 14. Heal th Department! officers are concentrating! their work on Ngaruawahia,! the centre of Waikato’s lat- 1 est diphtheria outbreak. There are now three! confirmed cases in Ngarua-i wahia, all schoolchildren.! The first was discovered last week when a nine-year-old i girl became ill. On Friday another girl of! the same age contracted the! disease, and on the same < day a 16-year-old boy fell' ill.
The children are not re-: lated, but their classes at; school are being swabbed in! case of undetected carriers.
