N.Z. art in Moscow

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, 0ct.14. More than 20 paintings by two New Zealand artists, Ed Maher and David Barker, ;have gone on display in Moscow, according to information received today by the Soviet Embassy in Wellington. The exhibition, which is sponsored by the U.S.S.R.New Zealand Friendship j Society, was opened by the I society’s vice-president (Dr ilgor Lebedev). ! According to a Soviet art scholar, Kseniya Kravchenko, the paintings are ; “extremely exotic, and draw attention by their wealth of colours and rich imagina'tion.”
