KELLY, Returning Officer for the Paparua County Council. 4130 MALVERN COUNTY COUNCIL NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER RAISING RURAL HOUSING LOAN 1974—5100,000 Notice is hereby given that at a meeting of the Malvern County Council held on the 13th day of September, 1974, the following resolution was passed and will be submitted for confirmation at an Ordinary Meeting of the council to be held on Friday, October 11. 1974, at 10.30 a.m. at the Council Chambers Darfield. RESOLUTION That in pursuance and In exercise of the powers conferred on it by the Counties Act 1956, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and the Rural Housing Act 1939 and amendments and regulations made thereunder and of all the other powers thereunto enabling, the Malvern County Council hereby resolves by way of Special Order to borrow the sum of One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000) by way of loan to be known as the Rural Housing Loan 1974 for the purpose of making advances to farmers In terms of the said Rural Housing Act 1939. subject to the following conditions: 1. The terms for which the said loan or any part thereof may be borrowed shall not exceed 30 years. 2. The rate of interest that may be paid in respect of the said loan or so milch thereof as is for the time being raised and not repaid, shall be four and three-quarters per cent per annum payable half-yearly, the first such payment to be made not later than six months after the date of payment of the first instalment of the loan by the Corporation to the said council such interest to be computed on the daily debtor balances in the accounts of the Corporation. 3. The council shall pay to the Corporation each halfyear in reduction of the principal' moneys advanced by the Corporation to the council an amount equal to the sum of all the amounts of principal which are expressed to be payable to the council during that half-year under tiie agreements entered into by the said council with the various farmers to whom the said council has advanced any of the loan moneys, together with any additional principal which may be paid by such farmers 4. No amount payable by the council in respect of principal or interest owing to the Corporation shall be paid out of loan moneys. 5. No amount shall be payable for brokerage, underwriting or placement fees in respect of the raising of the said loan or any part thereof. 6. That tiie security for the said loan shall be a special rate of 016 c in the dollar ($) upon the capital value of all rateable property within the County of Malvern. Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, it is hereby further publicly notified that the foregoing resolution will be submitted to an Ordinary Meeting of the Malvern County Council to be held in the Council Chambers Darfield. on Friday, October 11 1974 for confirmation as a Special Order. A copy of this Special Order is deposited at the office of the Malvern County Council, Darfield, and Is open for the Inspection of the public during ordinary office hours until the said Hth day of October, 1974 B.
