Art exhibition burnt out
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. Fire destroyed an art exhibition and badly damaged the top floor of the Wellington Settlement building in Willis Street on Friday night. The exhibition of modern art was presented in the Settlement’s gallery by students. An electrical fault in lighting set up for the exhibition is believed to have caused the fire.
