Pickets for Tui team

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Sept. 25. Members of the Tui Cricket Club will be met by pickets from the Halt All Racist Tours movement when they return to Auckland tomorrow. The chairman of the movement (Mr T. L. Richards) said in Wellington today that the Tui team — which is returning from a five-week tour of South Africa, Southern Rhodesia and Malawi — had “sneaked out of New Zealand undetected and unnanounced.” but would not be permitted to sneak back in the same way. “They should be returning to New Zealand thoroughly ashamed of what they have done,” he said in a statement. “The one thing they have truly cracked through the covers for four is New Zealand’s self-respecL”
