A . fireman carrying goods from one of the shops at the front of Riccarton Mall which were partly flooded just before midday yesterday. A fire sprinkler pipe In the ceiling of the mall burst Water cascaded from the , ceiling and flowed into some shops, damaging fabrics and other items. Damage has not been estimated. Firemen from the Spreydon, Sockburn, and Central stations spent three hours mopping up.
