Acquittal by jury
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, August 9. After a retirement of 40 minutes a jury in the Supreme Court today found Fati To’ Oto’O, aged 24, a storeman, not guilty on a charge of manslaughter. The charge arose from an incident in the Cannon’s Creek Tavern, Porirua, on the night of June 14, when Trevor Stanley Cullen died from head injuries after a fall.
