Road works as Army exercise

A meeting of the Malvern County Council was told yesterday that 1500 territorials would be in camp, and after an inspection, the Army had said it was preoared to carrv out engineering works as part of the exercise. These would include the construction of a vehicle bridge across the overflow stream of the Howdon River, thus improving ail-weather access, and the widening of road cuttings and the building up of boggy patches in the Poulter River region.
