Tennis girls win for N.Z.

New Zealand’s touring under 21 girls tennis players beat Denmark and the Netherlands in Eindhoven during the week-end to reach the final rounds of the international Annie Soisbault Trophy. Results (New Zealand names first):— New Zealand v. Denmark.— Miss Elliott beat Miss A. Quist, 6-3, 6-4: Miss Connor lost to Miss H. Sparre, 6-8, 2-6; Misses Elliott and Connor beat Misses Quist and Sparre. 8-6, 6-3. New Zealand v. the Netherlands.—Miss Connor beat Miss A. Prins, 7-5. 6-3; Miss Elliott beat Miss van der Eckhout, 6-4. 6-3; Misses Connor and Meachen beat Miss Prins and Miss M. Krediet, 6-2, 6-3..
