Y.F.C. event

Thirty members from seven Young Farmers' Clubs in the Christchurch district judged fat sheep, pigs and cattle in a hoof and hook competition held at the Canterbury Frozen Meat Company, Belfast, last week. In the inter-club part of the competition Hororata was the winner with Banks Peninsula second and Darfield and Dunsandel equal third. The top individual was R. Gardiner, of Dunsandel, with I. Evans, of Hororata, second. __
