Charges under firearms Act
LX’.7. Press Assn.—Coppngiit) I LOS ANGELES, i United States agents arres-| ted Allison Thompson at Los: Angeles international airport on Sunday as the teen-ager; stepped off a flight from Lon-‘ don, where she had been l acquitted on gun smuggling charges.
The former California resident was charged with viola-i tions of the Neutrality Act' and the Firearms Control Assistance Act.
The former waitress and model was arrested last Nov-! ember in London after auth-i orities found weapons under a false bottom in one of her suitcases. Thomas Brown, aged 32. who was also charged in the alleged smuggling, pleaded guilty to a gun smuggling charge in a Federal Court here yesterday. Thompson was released for trial on an unspecified date.
