Electricity charges were discussed in Cabinet today “along with a lot of other things,” the Deputy Prime Minister (Mr Watt) said tonight He said the charges were discussed in the context of the general economy and not next week’s Budget He pointed out that the Government had an undertaking not to increase charges for bulk electricity. “I am not prepared to say whether there is likely to be any increase in bulk charges or not,” Mr Watt said.
