Musical clowns

Sir, —I seldom write letters to the newspapers, but the letter in today’s issue of “The Press” has given me the urge to do so. The writer is obviously not fond of children, and even though the clowns, space ships, etc., might use a little electricity, the joy in the eyes of a child helps to brighten the passer-by, often depressed by the cold, the shortages, and what, I am sure, must be the dour frowns of some-

one like the writer.—Yours etc., GRAN. May 10, 1974.
