Rangers lead
Rangers have moved Into a commanding two-point lead after only four rounds of the Southern League (northern section) soccer competition. Regaining control in the late stages of the second half, Rangers beat their close rival, Western, 3-1, at Rangers Park, and retained a 100 per cent record in the league. Woolston W.M.C., aided by two penalties conceded by Shamrock, is also unbeaten, with two wins and two draws, and has climbed Into second place. Western is now third and Technical fourth; and it is likely that tlie two section qualifiers for the Southern League title will come from these four clubs.
