SWIMMERS LEAVE
The team of 27 swimmers from the strong Ryde club in Sydney, which included the Commonwealth Games representative, Miss V. Rickard, returned home yesterday after a 10-day tour of New Zealand.
The club concluded Its tour in a triangular carnival with the Wharenui club and the Toongabbie club, also from Sydney, at the Wharenui pool on Saturday evening. Toongabbie, with a team of 26 swimmers, arrived in NewZealand on Friday and will have a 10-day tour, taking in Mount; Cook,' and a carnival in Dunedin■ later this week.
