MALT CRUNCH

(By CELIA TIMMS) Most people like crunchy biscuits with a malt)’ flavour, so this recipe should be popular. You will need:— Jib malt biscuits, crushed 1 teacup rice bubbles 1 teacup chopped sultanas 1 teacup dessicated coconut 4oz butter 1 teacup brown sugar 1 large tablespoon malt extract I large tablespoon sweetened condensed milk

METHOD: Combine butter, brown sugar, malt and condensed milk and stir over low heat until dissolved then allow to boil very gently for about 3-5 minutes. .Add crushed biscuits and other ingredients after removing from heat and cooling. Blend very thoroughly before pressing into a well greased tin. While still warm grate dairy milk chocolate over the top and smooth as chocolate melts. Cut in fingers when set.
