Artificial breasts proposal
(N.Z. Press Association) HAMILTON, April 29. A remit calling for artificial breasts to be supplied on social security was passed at the Waikato Provincial Country Women’s Institute conference in Hamilton recently. The Berkley C.W.L submitted the remit, which read: “That the Government include in its social security benefits, the cost of prosthesis for people who have undergone radical breast surgery.”
