(N Z. Press Association) WANGANUI, April 29 Seven cars have been taken in Marton in the last three weeks but the police believe they have found the offenders. Most of the ce.rs appeared to have been taken for joy-rides, and were returned. But after a farmer noticed paint in a paddock the police found the seventh vehicle, and seven youngsters, aged between

11 and 13, who were painting it. The 1964 Holden had been given a blue bonnet, blue stripes, had been painted on the sides, and the wheels had been pc.’nted gold with a blue spot in the centre. Sergeant D. M. H. Richardson said that although it was believed the youths had taken most of the cars inquiries were continuing.
