Hunter shot
(N Z Press Association) AUCKLAND, April 29. A young man shot tn the back while on a hunting expedition with friends at Port Waikato yesterday wqs recovering from his injuries today in Middlemore Hospital. Mr J. Lempriere, who was operated on last night for the removal of a .22 bullet, was reported to be in a fairly satisfactory condition. The police said the shooting appeared to have been an accident.
