Anarchists arrested

The police are claiming to have uncovered an anarchist: plot to stage terrorist actions i in Barcelona on May Day,l with the eventual aim of violently overthrowing the Spanish Government. Three alleged anarchist militants have been arrested and a large quantity of! arms, plans and subversive material seized during a, series of raids around Barcelona. The three, who include a woman, are, according to the police, leaders of an outlawed Catalan anarchist gnoup calling itself “Organizacion de Luita Armada” L (Armed Struggle Organisation). The organisation planned; “to bring about violently > change of the present I Spanish regime.” the police said. For May Day, it had planned to blow up a police barracks, television relay; stations and factories in the Barcelona area.
