The audited group net pro-I fit of Golden Bay Cement i Company, Ltd, for the six I months to December 31 was $855,984. This compares with a profit for the latest full year of $l.B million. As announced, the company has changed its balance date from June 30 to December 31, and no direct! profit comparison is possible because the company did not disclose profit figures for the corresponding period last year. The directors recommend a dividend of 5 per cent (last full year 10 per cent) payable on April 23, ex dividend April 5.
