Peregrinating reporter
Keith Aberdeen, a reporter and occasional front man for “Nationwide,” has experienced life in several countries, and has gained considerable experience in news and current affairs work for television. He was born in England, grew up in Africa, and attended a public school in Ireland before coming to New Zealand on a scholarship to study law. Six months later, he gave up law and joined the N.Z.B.C. news staff. He appeared on “Town and Around” in Auckland, and on “Compass”, before going overseas to work in current affairs in Hong Kong.
On his return to New Zealand, he entered the public relations field and also wrote scripts for “Pukemanu” and “Section Seven.”
