fN.Z P A. -Reuter—Copyright > MOSCOW, February 17. It has been confirmed that President Pompidou of Fiance will visit the Soviet Union next month for a meeting with the General Secretary of the Communist Party (Mr Brezhnev).
The official Soviet news agency. Tass, reports that the visit was arranged in talks between French officials and the Soviet Foreign Minister (Mr Andrei Gromyko), who is now in Paris.
The proposed meeting will be the two leaders’ fifth personal encounter; the last was in June, 1973. when Mr Brezhnev stopped in France on his way home from a meeting with President Nixon.
