PARAPLEGIC THANK-YOU

The Reverend Father Leo Close, of the Catholic Education Office, Dunedin, has written to “The Press” expressing appreciation for the hospitality given to para-i plegics by Christchurch | people during the Commonwealth Games. “in particular 1 would like to thank Mr Ron Scott and his organising committee for the arrangements made for paraplegics at the various venues. 1 know that members of the New Zealand paraplegic team and other Commonwealth paraplegic teams together with all paraplegics appreciated this very much. “Christchurch has given a lead which, I hope, other centres will now follow,” he isaid.
