Section sold at Akaroa
A beach front section at Akaroa of about 30 perches was sold at auction yesterday for $14,750 and a similar section was passed in at $13,500 when it failed to reach the reserve price. The sections, which were sold by Matthew Robinson. Ltd, are on Beach Road and each has an unrestricted view of the harbour. The first section has an area of 761 square metres, and the other .729 square metres.
