LIFE-SAVING POSTS
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright.) DURBAN. South Africans have been appointed to the posts of president and secretary of the World Life-saving Association, succeeding the Australians, Mr K. Weldon and Mr A. Whelpton. Mr D. Osborne, president, and the secretary, Mr G. Botha, were elected unanimously at the world life-sav-ing congress in Durban, which is being attended by delegates from Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan, and Britain, as well as South Africa.
