f.V.Z. Frew Association) WELLINGTON. Five New Zealand racing car drivers will compete in the Australian rounds of the Peter Stuyvesant $lOO,OOO series. They are G. Mcßae (Wellington), G. Lawrence (Hamilton), D. Oxton and G. Pedersen (Auckland) and B. Robertson (Hastings).
Mcßae and Lawrence are former Tasman champions j and Oxton raced in this category in Europe last year.! Pedersen is the only driver! making his first overseasl racing trip; Robertson has; raced on the South-East! Asian circuit. A sixth New Zealand driver. D. Dunlop (Upper. Hutt) had to cancel his] plans to compete in the Ans-1 Italian races when his car: was destroyed -by fire this! week.
