ORDEAL FOR A GLIMPSE

The St John Ambulance Brigade treated several people for heat exhaustion at Christchurch Airport yesterday afternoon. Those who succumbed were among the crowd waiting for the Queen to arrive. A brigade spokesman said last evening the heat had affected a lot of people at the airport, but only 52 persons had been treated at the Games, mainly because most of the venues were inside.
