Remission plea fails

P. Coulson, of Perth, has applied unsucessfully to the New Zealand Trotting Conference for the remission of the balance of a term of seven years' disqualification imposed on him in Christchurch on May 29, 1971. The disqualification followed a lengthv inquiry into a positive swab returned bv the pacer. Junior's Image, after he had been first past the post in the $40,000 Inter-Dominion Championship Grand Final at Addington Raceway on February 27, 1971. The executive of the conference at a meeting declined Coulson's application, but decided to advise him that a further application would be considered when he had served half of the term of disqualification.
