Journalists are on the , march throughout Zaire i against those who “sabotage ; and bury the national i economy.” I In the capital yesterday, they marched to a military ! band, led by the National Press Union president I (Mpanumpanu Bi-Ba Nda), iand the National Orientation I Commissioner (Sakombi Inongo). Joined by printers and carrying banners, the journalists marched through the main streets for an hour and a half.
Commenting on the “vigil-1 ance march,” Voice of Zaire! radio said last night: “From! now on, in the present! economic situation, Zairese j journalists mean to play their full role as active I militants for the revolution. I Over the air and in news-1 papers, they will not hesi-l tate to denounce all agents' of subversion—Zairese or i foreign—who try in all kinds of ways to sabotage consolidation of national independence.”
